Dan Bark, Executive Chef and owner of Upstairs Mikkeller Bangkok devoted over 15 years of his career behind the culinary scene. He had worked his way up through some of the finest restaurants in Chicago.

Dan was previously a Sous Chef of Grace Restaurant under Chef Curtis Duffy, who earned 3 Michelin Stars in 2014 and 2015.

Falling in love with Mikkeller’s identity and philosophy, Dan has partnered up with Mikkeller Bangkok to introduce a concept of delicate food and craft beer pairing to the city of Bangkok – Upstairs Restaurant, where he earned 1 Michelin star in 2017.

His cuisine is best described as Progressive American, which each dish is a mix-and-match approach to techniques and ingredients unbound by geography with no limits in flavor combination.
